Dress Regulations

Standard of dress and general appearance will, at all times, determine the privileges of all members and their guests to use the facilities of the Clubhouse and Course and shall be commensurate with the dignity of the Club. The responsibility for ensuring that the standards of dress are maintained lies with the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer, and will be enforced by them or their delegates.
Jeans of any description are not acceptable anywhere in the Clubhouse or on the Course. Children 12 years or younger are exempt.

Minimum Dress Standard

In keeping with the Club's traditions and standards, Members and their guests are expected to maintain at all times, appropriate standards of dress and appearance. Clothing bearing substantial advertising motifs or slogans is not permitted.
'Sporting attire'. Collared shirts which must be tucked in at all times. Tailored shorts not below the knee may be worn. Closed in shoes must be worn at all times.

Clubhouse & Course

Soft spikes - The Club has a policy of soft spikes, unless special dispensation has been granted by the Board on medical grounds.

Definitions

Men - Collared shirts which must be tucked in at all times. Trousers must be tailored. Tailored shorts not below the knee may be worn. When wearing shorts on the course, Members must wear long socks or short white socks which are either plain or which bear only a Golf Club logo. Anklet type socks are not acceptable. Shoes must be of a type which have been specially manufactured for the playing of golf.

Women - May wear skirts, tailored slacks and shorts on the Course and in the Clubhouse. Shorts and skirts must be no more than 13cm above the knee. Tops and shirts designed to wear outside must be hip length. Jeans of any description, drawstrings waisted pants or shorts, stretch pants, tracksuits, singlets, sun-tops, sneakers, jogging and sandshoes are not permitted on the Course or in the Clubhouse. Associates shall, at all times, ensure that their dress is commensurate with the dignity of the Club.

Functions

Jacket and tie unless stated otherwise in the Fixture Book or specified in the invitations for special functions such as theme nights.

Swimming Pool

Any members or guests using the swimming pool must abide by the current minimum dress standards whilst outside the pool perimeter.

Tennis Courts

Clothing designed, described and designated as tennis attire must be worn. Shirts must have collars. Colour clothing is permitted but clothing bearing substantial advertising motifs or slogans is prohibited. Conventional tennis shoes must be worn.
