Frazer Droop (VIC) has won the NSW/ACT PGA Trainee Championship by 6 shots. Our boys couldn’t match it with Frazer who is the number 1 trainee in the country finishing at 7-under par for four rounds. 

Daniel finished in 32nd place with 305 strokes, Tyrone finished tied 35th with 309 strokes and Matt Power finished 48th with 320 strokes. AGC Members and current Trainee Professionals James Sampson (Northbridge) & Ricky Kato (Manly) were also in the field. James finished tied 20th & Ricky missed the cut.

Round 3 has been completed and Daniel Bringolf has moved up the leader-board to be tied 13th with a 1-over par round of 73 strokes today.

The NSW/ACT PGA Trainee Championship is underway at Riverside Oaks GC and our three Trainees have all made the cut after round 2. Tyrone is leading the way with rounds of 75 & 74 to be tied for 15th at +5. Daniel is 2 shots back at +7 which is tied for 22nd position. Matt is tied for 40th with a +11 total for 36-holes. 

The tournament leader is Frazer Droop (Victoria) who shot a 6-under par 66 in today’s round to sit 6 shots ahead of Brayden Petersen (NSW), the only two players under par in the field of 75.
