Congratulations to Scott Mayo (Coolangatta Tweed Heads GC) who won The Australian Senior Medal for 2025.

Scott recorded a fine even-par round of 72 strokes from the white tees to win the event by 1-stroke over the 2023 Champion, Ken Brewer (Newcastle GC) and Wayne Buick (South West Rocks GC).

Scott started on the 4th hole for the afternoon shotgun. He made four birdies throughout the round, which included three birdies over his last four holes to clinch the title in perfect golfing conditions. He collected a $450.00 Golf Shop voucher for his efforts.

The net prize was won in convincing fashion by Carl Rumble (The Australian GC) who recorded 66 strokes net with a Daily Handicap of 9. He won by 4 strokes over another local in Glenn Patterson (The Australian GC, handicap 7).

The over 65yrs division was won by Peter Baker (The Australian GC) who signed for 78 strokes to win by 1 shot ahead of Alan Bowman (Avondale GC).
